Jordan Ta'amu and His Journey to the XFL

Kansas City Chiefs Scoop-up BattleHawks QB Jordan Ta’amu

Last week we reported that XFL players would be eligible to sign with the NFL starting today at 8am EST. Since then we’ve seen PJ Walker sign with the Panthers and Deatrick Nichols join the Saints. The first two signings made public came from the undefeated Houston Roughnecks, now we’re seeing our first signing from the St. Louis BattleHawks.

One of the names we expected to go fast was Jordan Ta’amu, and we now know that he’ll be joining the Kansas City Chiefs.

As we stated above, Ta’amu becomes the third player to make the move from the XFL to the NFL. The XFL expected the attrition, but this is promising for the league even if you’re sad to see him go. This is a proof of concept for other players deciding to join the XFL for a chance at that bigger opportunity.

We expect to see more names make the move over the next couple days, we’ll keep you posted as more news comes out. Do you think Kansas City is a good landing spot for Ta’amu? Let us know down in the comments below or join the conversation on Discord.
