Hal Mumme Out — Renegades Tap Jeff Jagodzinski as OC

Hal Mumme Set to Coach in the International Football Alliance (IFA)

Hal Mumme is a name that’s ben around spring football for a long time. Now, it looks like he’s set to join another upcoming spring league, the International Football Alliance (IFA).

The league announced this week that Hal Mumme has been named as General Manager and Head Coach of the unnamed San Antonio franchise.

Hal Mumme is set to host a press conference for the IFA on June 13th in San Antonio to introduce the stadium. When it comes to team names, it looks like the league is opting to leave it to the fans.

The IFA is set to launch in 2025 with 8 teams, with San Antonio being the last to be revealed. If you’re curious where the league will be playing next year, you can see the full list of IFA teams that have been announced so far:

  • Alabama Beavers
  • Cancun Sharks
  • Chihuahua Rebelion
  • Dallas Pioneros
  • Las Vegas Kings
  • Tampa Tornadoes
  • Tequileros de Jalisco (Guadalajara, MX)

Hal Mumme is no new-comer to spring football, he’s worked in the AAF, XFL (2020), The Spring League and was even going to coach in the MLFB.

Needless to say, he’s a great coach to join the new league.
