XFL Week Four Recap: Major Takeaways From Each Matchup | Nate Meadors

DB Nate Meadors & WR Victor Bolden Sign NFL Contracts

The XFL continues to provide its athletes with opportunities. DB Nate Meadors and WR Victor Bolden have both signed NFL contracts over the past day.

Nate Meadors played for the St. Louis Battlehawks this past XFL season, and was excellent. He finished the year with 37 tackles and two interceptions, serving as one of the elite defenders in the league.

Now, he’s signed an NFL contract with the Cleveland Browns. The NFL is nothing new for Meadors, who spent time with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.

Meanwhile, WR Victor Bolden has signed with the Houston Texans. Bolden is a former All-USFL star, who signed with the Arizona Cardinals following the season.

This spring, he joined the Arlington Renegades in the XFL, and made an impact on special teams. Bolden eventually won the XFL Championship with Arlington, posting 40 receiving yards during the two final games of the year.

Nate Meadors and Victor Bolden are the 48th and 49th XFL players to sign an NFL contract. As the preseason grind continues, expect even more to get opportunities as players come and go from their respective teams.
