Dallas Renegades Sign Brogan Roback

After last weeks loss against the BattleHawks, The Renegades decided to make some adjustments in hopes to put the team on the right track. It was just revealed that the franchise has placed Eric Dungey on reserve due to family matters and brought on former St. Louis backup Brogan Roback.

It was speculated that Roback may be on his way to the Renegades earlier this afternoon when he Tweeted the following:

Some fans thought he may be joining Team 9, the XFL’s supplemental team. Others had hoped that he would be joining Stopps and co. Well, those fans should be happy, because the Rengades have updated their transaction page to make the news official.Brogan Roback | Dallas RenegadesRoback played college football at Eastern Michigan, where he saw action in 46 games with 745 completions for 8,653 yards and 57 touchdowns.

In May of 2018, he signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2018, only to be released on August 31, 2018. He was also featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks during his time with the Browns.

Roback is a fan favorite and a lot of folks were surprised to see that he din’t make the final cut in St. Louis. Dallas coming off a loss in a game where they were the heavy favorite wanted to act quick. They travel to Los Angeles this weekend to take on the Wildcats, who are having their own set of problems at the moment. Not to mention, it looks as if Landry Jones will get his first start for the Renegades, so things may be looking in their favor.
