Burns is the 13th USFL player to officially sign with an NFL team, and is the second Stallion to head to Cleveland.
The past two seasons in the USFL have been quite successful for Lorenzo Burns. He’s won back to back Championships in the league with the Birmingham Stallions, serving the team with consistent defensive play.

In 2022, Burns posted nine total tackles, alongside two interceptions. This year, he didn’t snag any interceptions, but racked up 25 tackles and made some pivotal plays. In the South Division Championship against New Orleans, he knocked away a touchdown pass that essentially sealed the win for Birmingham.
The former Arizona star has a bit of experience in the NFL, with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, he’ll have another opportunity to prove himself in camp, with the Cleveland Browns.
