DiLauro was an offseason addition for Birmingham this year, and earned a starting role for Skip Holtz and this offense right away. He started in eight of nine games he played in, and didn’t allow a single sack. Christian did struggle with penalties, though, with eight on the season.
With DiLauro returning to the roster, it’s a welcomed sight, as Zack Johnson – the All-UFL Guard, has made his way to the NFL with the 49ers. Birmingham has brought back quite a few of their offensive linemen, while signing some free agents as well.
DE Durrell Johnson | Arlington Renegades
The Arlington Renegades are signing DE Durrell Johnson from @LibertyFootball
From 20-22 he recorded 114 total tackles, 40.5 TFL, 14.5 sacks, and created 4 turnovers. The #DallasCowboys signed him as an UDFA in 2022 before he was waived/injured.#UFL pic.twitter.com/8TtektNIwT

The Renegades continue to add new pieces to their defense for 2025. It was a unit that saw some struggles in 2024, and GM Rick Mueller is doing what he can to get things headed in a different direction for next season.
Durrell Johnson is an exciting prospect out of Liberty. He began his college career at ASA Juco College, racking up 59 tackles and 12.5 sacks across two seasons there.
This led to Durrell earning an opportunity with Liberty University. He played there for three seasons, posting 121 tackles, 17.5 sacks, and two interceptions.
Johnson ended up signing with the Cowboys in 2023 as an UDFA, spending over a year on their practice squad. He’s recorded three tackles across a few preseason matchups, but didn’t see an time on the active roster. Now, he’ll look to get his pro career up and running in the UFL, with the Arlington Renegades.
Durrell Johnson is a DE prospect in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 6.87 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 512 out of 1634 DE from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/jNdmJurcuB #Cowboys pic.twitter.com/OEVKfqOC8Y
