Over the past couple of weeks, players from the UFL have been making their way up north. St. Louis Battlehawks OT Bradley Ashmore is headed to the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders, sources confirm to Pro Football Newsroom.
Bradley Ashmore is a two-year Battlehawk, as one of their former draft picks. He joined the team in 2025, seeing some minutes sparingly throughout the year as they dealt with injuries up front.
In 2026, the entire offensive staff saw a shift, as Ricky Proehl took over as the team’s Head Coach. Ashmore did enough to impress the revised organization, sticking with St. Louis this year. He started in nine of 11 games played, primarily lining up at right tackle for the Battlehawks.
On 298 pass blocking snaps, Bradley allowed three sacks and 18 pressures. Across the final five games, he didn’t give up a single sack.
Now, the former Vanderbilt product will be heading to the CFL. Ashmore, at 6’6”, 303 lbs., will provide depth – and starting experience in the pros – to Calgary. The Stampeders are currently 3-4, sitting in fourth place in their respective division.
It remains to be seen as to whether or not Bradley will return to St. Louis next UFL season. There are plenty of players who “double dip” – but, if Calgary retains him on their roster, it’s more than likely that he will stick up north in 2027.
