Michigan Panthers Re-Sign LB DaShaun White For 2024 Season

Buffalo Bills Sign Michigan Panthers LB DaShaun White

Another Michigan Panthers athlete is headed to the NFL. Linebacker DaShaun White has signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills, as the tenth Panther to make the move on up. Draft Diamonds had the story first.

White joined the Michigan Panthers during the 2023 USFL season as a collegiate draft pick, and saw limited action throughout the year. DaShaun played in four games, totaling six tackles for the team.

DaShaun White was an absolute stud at Oklahoma. He posted 258 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and two interceptions during his time there. His senior season in particular was stellar:

90 tackles
2 sacks
2 interceptions

White joined the Panthers for the 2023 season, and now gets an opportunity to showcase his talents in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills.

So far, the Michigan Panthers have sent ten players to NFL teams, including:

QB E.J. Perry (Houston)
RB Stevie Scott (Arizona)
KR/WR Kaden Davis (Arizona)
WR Trey Quinn (Detroit)
WR D.J. Montgomery (Indianapolis)
DE Breeland Speaks (San Francisco)
DE Levi Bell (Seattle)
LB Frank Ginda (Atlanta)
DB Josh Butler (Dallas)

White is the 38th USFL player to sign an NFL contract. Had it not been for the platform – and the national exposure – that the USFL provided him with, who knows if this opportunity would have come along.
