Birmingham Stallions Lose Christian DiLauro, Return Deonte Brown

During the Birmingham Stallions first drive of the game in week ten, Christian DiLauro went down with an injury, exiting the game. Unfortunately, that play marked the end of his UFL season, as Christian has been placed on the injured reserve list.

Christian DiLauro being unavailable for the playoff run is a tough blow to this offense. He’s started in nine of ten games played this year, and hasn’t allowed a single sack.

According to PFF, DiLauro had an Offensive Grade of 54.4 (57.6 Run Block, 59.2 Pass Block). One of his struggles was penalties – Christian was penalized eight times in 2024. Outside of that, though, Christian played quite well.

Now, the Birmingham Stallions have been able to return OL Deonte Brown off of the injured reserve list. Brown was poised to be an important piece to this team, but was injured in week one vs. Arlington, and has since remained on IR. Deonte has only played six snaps this year.

With their postseason matchup against Michigan just a few days away, the Stallions will have to hope that they can remain healthy the rest of the way. Every team is banged up heading into the playoffs – injuries are something that each organization is dealing with in some way, shape, or form.
