As UFL roster cuts are right around the corner, the St. Louis Battlehawks and Columbus Aviators continue to make moves ahead of the deadline.
Starting with the Battlehawks, they are seeing a change at quarterback. We’ve been informed by league sources that QB Ben Wooldridge was released by the team this week. He was deemed by Ricky Proehl as QB3 earlier this week to the media.
Wooldridge was let go after St. Louis pursued potential trade opportunities for him, having been named QB3. Ben will now look to find employment elsewhere, not exactly satisfied with how the quarterback competition played out in camp.
Meanwhile, we’re told that the Battlehawks plan to bring back Michael Pratt. He hasn’t officially signed back, but should be with the team this week. Michael was one of the team’s original picks at quarterback – but opted out of camp as he made a last minute attempt at pursuing an NFL futures deal.
Pratt is a very exciting prospect out of Tulane. He’s got surprising speed, rushing for 28 touchdowns in college. Michael has spent time in the NFL with the Packers (7th round draft pick), and Tampa Bay. He’s an elite processor, throwing 90 touchdowns to just 26 interceptions collegiately. While Harrison Frost and Brandon Silvers are battling it out for the starting position, don’t be surprised if Pratt makes a run for the gig during the season.
Columbus Aviators Movement
The Columbus #Aviators are adding P Brad Robbins to the roster, per sources.
Robbins replaces Jake Camarda, who abruptly left #UFL camp earlier this week.
Brad is a former sixth round NFL draft pick with the #Bengals.

With the abrupt absence of punter Jake Camarda, the Aviators have brought in a replacement. Brad Robbins has signed with the team today, as a former sixth round NFL draft pick with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Brad is a big leg punter who simply hasn’t found his footing, no pun intended, professionally. Interestingly enough, he actually battled it out with Camarda in camp last year, with the Bengals. Most recently, Brad was with the Las Vegas Raiders on their practice squad. At Michigan, Brad averaged 43 yards per punt.
Additionally, the Aviators have signed DE Quashon Fuller. He brings depth, but it’s hard to say that he has a real shot at the roster given his late arrival. Unless Columbus is simply that thin at DE (a position they’ve been trying to nail down all camp long), odds are we’ll see Quashon with the team for just one day.
With that in mind, Fuller is no slacker. He began his college career at FSU, appearing in 16 games across three seasons, totaling 11 tackles and three TFL’s. When he transferred to Maryland, Quashon emerged as a true starter, with 28 tackles, 3.5 TFL’s, and two sacks in 11 starts as a senior.
Recently, Fuller had a quick opportunity with the New York Giants. Now, he’ll look to kickstart his pro career in the UFL.
