Battlehawks Sign QB Harrison Frost Amidst Other UFL Movement

The St. Louis Battlehawks finally have a third quarterback. With Michael Pratt opting to step away from the UFL, the Battlehawks have signed Harrison Frost as their third signal caller in camp.

Frost, at 6’1”, 194lbs. Has been around the block in the alternative football scene for a few years. He was originally in the XFL with the Seattle Sea Dragons back in 2023, serving as a backup to Ben DiNucci. This is an important detail, because he is familiar with a June Jones-style offense, exactly what A.J. Smith will be running with St. Louis.

The last two years, Harrison went up north to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He was primarily a backup, throwing for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Collegiately, Frost began his career at Mercer. It wasn’t until West Georgia that he really made an impact, throwing for 6,730 yards and 50 touchdowns across just two seasons. He holds the school record for most passing yards in one game, with 503. Harrison was a two-time finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy.

In corresponding moves, the Battlehawks have released DE Chris Hardie and LB William Hardy. Hardie was a younger, exciting prospect at defensive end, who can get after the quarterback. Evidently, the Battlehawks feel confident with what they have, retaining stars in Pita Taumoepenu and Travis Feeney at EDGE.

Columbus Aviators Sign DE Antwan Davis

The Aviators have brought in another edge rusher, following all of the loss they’ve seen at the position. Antwan Davis signed with Columbus yesterday, as an NAIA-HBCU prospect who could end up seeing valuable minutes on the field.

Antwan was a menace at Florida Memorial University, totaling 202 tackles, 40.5 TFL’s, and 17 sacks across four seasons. He played at Norfolk State this past season, recording 23 tackles and two sacks in nine games. Antwan is opting to play in the UFL, rather than entering the NFL Draft.

Other Releases & Retirements

The Houston Gamblers lost OG Gareth Warren to IR, one of the team’s new prospects who would have been in the mix as a starter/rotational piece.

In an interesting twist, both of the Murphy brothers have retired. Gabe was with the DC Defenders, while Grayson was on the Orlando Storm. It’s strange that the two “retired” and left at the same time. Both were poised to be two of the top edge rushers in the UFL.

Finally, the Louisville Kings placed RB Jalen Jackson on IR. It’s an unfortunate loss for their backfield. Jalen played with the Memphis Showboats in 2025, flashing his potential as a “bowling ball” runner, with a knack for finding the open lanes.
