With UFL Training Camp right around the corner, the Columbus Aviators and Houston Gamblers are finalizing their rosters. The Aviators added a QB in Aidan Sayin, while Houston made a couple moves of their own.

With Clayton Tune no longer in the picture, the Aviators have brought in Aidan Sayin. He’s a unique prospect, as a former Ivy League standout who now gets his opportunity in the UFL. Sayin played his college ball at the University of Pennsylvania, where he set school records and performed at a high level.
Aidan set Pennsylvania records for most completions (719), while throwing for 7,177 passing yards, which ranks second in school history. He was the first Quaker in school history to have four games with 350+ passing yards in one season. Sayin tossed 45 touchdowns throughout his college career. He’s going to need some development to make waves in the UFL, but he’s found the right system with Todd Haley at OC.
Camren McDonald is an exciting pickup for this team at tight end. He’s got quite the resume, and brings plenty of talent and upside to this offense.McDonald played all of his college football at Florida State University. As a Seminole, Camren saw his role grow year after year. At 6’4”, 245 lbs., McDonald is a tremendous asset in the passing game, which was put on display at FSU.
Camren was a full-time starter his final three seasons. During his career at FSU, he totaled 861 receiving yards and five touchdowns. While he didn’t blow scouts away with his blocking abilities, Camren did more than enough to hold his own – and with his ability to catch the football at a high level, turned some heads in the NFL. He’s bounced around in the pro space, with stints in the NFL, CFL, and now the UFL. Camren had signed to the Houston Gamblers earlier in the offseason.
Finally, the Aviators have re-signed safety Henry Black, one of their draft picks that they cut late last month. Henry Black spent the entirety of the UFL’s 2025 season as a rotational piece for the San Antonio Brahmas. He played in all 10 games, but didn’t start any; rotating behind Jordan Mosley and Jalen Elliott. Black finished the season with 22 tackles, on 206 snaps played. He also made an impact on special teams, with six tackles to his name on that end.
Black played his college football at Baylor, racking up 119 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions across his time there. This led to Henry receiving some NFL interest in 2020. He signed with the Green Bay Packers as an UDFA that year, and proceeded to see quite a bit of playing time in 2021 – posting 38 tackles and an interception.
Houston Gamblers
CB Roman Parodie – Signed
WR Monarary Baldwin – Removed
DE Toby Ndukwe – Removed
Parodie is the definition of a “reliable starter,” having played in 51 games during his collegiate career – proving he can handle a heavy workload. Roman had a tremendous career with the Ohio Bobcats, totaling 124 tackles, three interceptions, four TFL’s, and 28 PBU’s.
Roman had an NFL opportunity with the Buccaneers, showing out in the preseason where he had a 39 yard pick six. Parodie didn’t sign a futures deal with Tampa Bay, and now finds himself joining the UFL. The Gamblers secondary instantly gets better with Roman on the roster. He’s got a big frame that’ll allow himself to compete with the big-bodied receivers this league features.
The Gamblers have lost WR Monarary Baldwin – the Baylor speedster who was bound to make waves in the UFL. It’s unfortunate to see him dip without playing a down. Toby Ndukwe was a rotational edge rusher for the Brahmas a year ago, but with Houston’s stacked D-Line – it isn’t entirely surprising that he got cut.
