Atlanta Falcons Sign Battlehawks OT Jaryd Jones-Smith

The first wave of UFL to NFL signings has officially hit. Jaryd Jones-Smith, the St. Louis Battlehawks standout, is headed to Atlanta.

Jaryd Jones-Smith has been with St. Louis for the past two seasons. He earned All-XFL honors in 2023, which earned him a stint with the Washington Commanders.

This year, Jones-Smith started in all 11 games for the Battlehawks. He was a key piece to their success, and ended up being nominated as an All-UFL offensive lineman.

According to PFF, Jaryd Jones-Smith had a 61.0 Offensive Grade, with a 57.7 Run Blocking Grade and 61.0 Pass Blocking Grade.

Throughout the last two seasons, the St. Louis Battlehawks have featured some of the top linemen in the spring football scene. Their rushing attack, led by Jacob Saylors, was not possible without the efforts of their O-Line.

Now, Jaryd Jones-Smith will have the opportunity to continue his NFL career, because of the national platform that the UFL provided him with.
