The Arizona Cardinals have been eager to sign pieces from the UFL’s Orlando Storm. On Monday, the Cardinals brought in safety Josh Minkins and punter Jack Browning, both of whom were key participants with the Storm this past season.
These signings follow the additions of TE Shawn Bowman and RB Tre Stewart from Orlando.

After workouts with a few NFL teams, Josh Minkins has officially landed in Arizona. He joins the Cardinals with a chance to make a late preseason push for a roster spot.
Josh entered spring football for the first time in 2026 – settling into a starting role with Orlando. Across six games, Minkins had 39 tackles, a pair of pass breakups, and five defensive stops. Injuries kept him sidelined for the majority of the rest of the season, which was unfortunate – Orlando’s backend clearly missed his playmaking abilities down the stretch..
Minkins opened up the season with a bang. Orlando forced a fumble on the opening kickoff at home against Columbus, with Josh coming up with the loose football.
Josh has some NFL experience with the New England Patriots from the 2025 preseason.

The Arizona Cardinals worked out Jack Browning a couple of times – and have finally decided to sign the Storm punter with less than a week to go before cutdowns.
Jack was a first-year punter in the UFL. He proved to be one of the top specialists in the league, averaging 48.6 yards per punt (with a net average of 40.0). 12 of Jack’s 28 punts landed inside opponent’s 20 yard lines (2nd in UFL), with a long of 66 yards.
Browning has previous NFL experience. He punted in five games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2024 season. The former San Diego State Aztec has plenty of life left in his pro career, utilizing the UFL to springboard him back to the NFL.
