UFL To NFL Rundown: Week Three Action | Dondrea Tillman

UFL To NFL Rundown: 2025 Week Ten Action

Even with the Dallas Cowboys on a bye week, there was plenty of UFL to NFL action in week ten of the NFL’s season. A couple of players made their season debuts, while others continued to perform at a high level.

Unfortunately, Falcons DT LaCale London ended up being ruled out shortly before kickoff vs. Indianapolis. The Falcons missed his presence on the interior, as the former Battlehawks standout had five tackles and two sacks just a week ago. That said, let’s take a look at what went down this weekend in the NFL.

Minnesota Vikings

DT Jalen Redmond, Renegades

Jalen Redmond just continues to get better and better for this Vikings defense. He had a career high eight tackles in the loss to Baltimore, with five defensive stops to his name. Redmond was also active in keeping Lamar Jackson contained, boasting an impressive 74.5 Defensive Grade, via PFF. Daryl Johnston, a UFL executive, was on the call for FOX Sports – and gave Redmond high praise as someone who came out of spring football and has produced.

Cleveland Browns

K Andre Szmyt, Battlehawks
LS Rex Sunahara, Brahmas

It was a strong showing for Rex Sunahara and Andre Szmyt in the specialist department. Andre connected on both of his field goal attempts, with a long of 45 yards in the loss to the Jets. This included a “fire drill” kick to close out the first half, with Sunahara and Szmyt delivering for Cleveland in a pressure situation.

Detroit Lions

RB Jacob Saylors, Battlehawks
DB Nick Whiteside, Battlehawks
K Jate Bates, Panthers

Jake Bates had another big day for Detroit, with three made field goals (long of 48 yards), alongside making 3 of 4 XP attempts. The Lions cruised past Washington, boosted by Bates’ 12 points in the win.

Nick Whiteside was active, but didn’t record any statistics. Unfortunately, Jacob Saylors ended up being listed as inactive, and did not serve on kickoff duties this week.

Los Angeles Rams

K Harrison Mevis, Stallions

Harrison Mevis was signed by the Los Angeles Rams this week, to provide depth with the inconsistencies of Joshua Karty. Mevis was given the nod quickly, and started for LA this Sunday. He didn’t get to kick any field goals, but connected on all six XP attempts in the big win over San Francisco. Harrison was excellent in the UFL with Birmingham, and now could be poised to take over kicking duties for Los Angeles.

Denver Broncos

WR Michael Bandy, Roughnecks
DE Dondrea Tillman, Stallions
LS Mitchell Fraboni, Maulers

Dondrea Tillman has erupted for Denver over the past few weeks. He notched his second interception of the season, coming up with a turnover in a tightly-contested 10-7 victory over the Raiders. Tillman finished the game with three tackles, and a solid 67.5 Defensive Grade via PFF.

Michael Bandy wasn’t utilized much compared to last week, with just one punt return for -1 yards. Former Maulers long snapper Mitchell Fraboni has been excellent for Denver, named to PFF’s All-NFL First Team at the midway point of the season.

Other UFL to NFL Performances

Roughnecks DB Damon Arnette, Texans: Arnette was activated by Houston this week, and provided depth on special teams, with one tackle in the comeback victory over Jacksonville. He played 24 ST snaps on the afternoon.

Stars DT LaBryan Ray, Panthers: Disappointingly, LaBryan Ray hasn’t had much of an opportunity to shine with Carolina as of late. He didn’t record any statistics for a second consecutive week, playing just 11 snaps.

Final Thoughts

Despite a couple of players being inactive last minute, alongside the Cowboys absence, there were still some solid storylines for UFL to NFL talent in week 10. Jalen Redmond, Dondrea Tillman, and Harrison Mevis were the three biggest stars this past weekend.
