UFL To NFL Rundown: 2025 Week Fifteen Action

Week fifteen in the NFL brought quite a bit of UFL action to the table. There were nearly 20 athletes that took the field who formerly played in the USFL, XFL, or UFL.

Let’s take a look at what all went down.

Denver Broncos

WR Michael Bandy, Roughnecks
DE Dondrea Tillman, Stallions
LS Mitchell Fraboni, Maulers

Michael Bandy, the former Houston Roughnecks wideout, made the most of his elevation this week. Bandy had one reception for 20 yards – which went for his first career NFL touchdown.

Dondrea Tillman had another big day for Denver. He finished with two tackles, a sack, a TFL, and a QB hit in the win over Green Bay. Meanwhile, former Maulers long snapper took care of special team duties.

Detroit Lions

RB Jacob Saylors, Battlehawks
K Jake Bates, Panthers

Jacob Saylors didn’t get to see the field for Detroit this week, but Bates was active per usual. Jake was two for three on field goal attempts, with a long of 48 yards. He also hit four XP’s, totaling 10 points on the afternoon.

Dallas Cowboys

WR KaVontae Turpin, Generals
DT Perrion Winfrey, Stallions
K Brandon Aubrey, Stallions

Kavontae Turpin, not surprisingly, stuffed the stat sheets for Dallas. He had one rush for two yards, two receptions for 10 yards, and four kick returns for 124 yards. Notably, Turpin’s big return in the late second half was negated due to a penalty.

For Brandon Aubrey, it wasn’t his cleanest night – as he surprisingly missed two field goals (both from 50+ yards out). He did connect on four, though, and also hit two XP’s to total 14 points on the night.

Cleveland Browns

K Andre Szmyt, Battlehawks
LS Rex Sunahara, Brahmas

Andre Szmyt didn’t get to kick much in a blowout loss, but he did connect from 50 yards out on his lone field goal attempt of the afternoon. Szmyt also notched a tackle on special teams.

Atlanta Falcons

DT LaCale London, Battlehawks

Another week, another impactful game for LaCale London. He had a tackle, a TFL, a PBU, and a sack. His sack came in a crucial point in the fourth quarter, helping turn the tide in Atlanta’s favor.

Minnesota Vikings

DT Jalen Redmond, Renegades

When Jalen Redmond showed up to SNF wearing Renegades gear, we knew he’d be in for a strong outing. Jalen posted five tackles in the win over Dallas, with a few key run stops. Mike Tirico mentioned during the NBC broadcast that Redmond has been Minnesota’s most consistent playmaker on defense.

Other UFL To NFL Performances

Stallions QB Adrian Martinez, Jets: Martinez joined the Jets this week, and was elevated due to some of their injuries and unavailable QBs. He did not record any statistics in the loss to Jacksonville, backing up Brady Cook.

Stallions K Harrison Mevis, Rams: Harrison has been perfect all year for Los Angeles since signing midway through the season, and that hasn’t changed. He hit two field goals, alongside five XP’s in the win over the Lions. After LA’s early struggles on special teams, Mevis has been a breath of fresh air for the organization in that department.

Defenders P Daniel Whelan, Defenders: It was a quiet afternoon for Whelan, who punted just one time for 57 yards.

Stallions WR Kevin Austin Jr., Saints: Kevin Austin was activated once again by New Orleans this week, recording three receptions for 33 yards in the upset win over Carolina. Austin is a speedster, putting that on display in Birmingham two years ago.

Final Thoughts

We once again had a jam-packed weekend of UFL to NFL players making an impact on the gridiron. Kickers, defensive linemen, and even some wide receivers stepped up across the board during week fifteen. Every storyline, once again, proves how important the UFL and spring football is to the pro football ecosystem.
