Looking At The UFL’s Eight Team Venues For 2026 Season

Looking At The UFL’s Eight Team Stadiums For 2026 Season

The 2026 UFL season is bringing quite a few changes to the table, under the new leadership of Mike Repole. The UFL relocated three teams to new cities, and also saw a couple of Texas franchises move venues in the process.

With these updates in mind, let’s take a look at where each UFL team will be playing in 2026.

Birmingham Stallions | Protective Stadium

Capacity: 47,000

The Birmingham Stallions will remain at Protective Stadiums, as one of the few teams to not find a new home. Protective has been a staple of this scene the last four years, serving as a host for the USFL’s hub system for a couple of years. Protective is a relatively newer venue, and it’s one of the better experiences in the UFL. If the Stallions can see more consistency in fan attendance, Protective will look good on TV. Birmingham’s shirtless fan section in the end zone is one of the UFL’s most enjoyable perks.

Columbus Aviators | Historic Crew Stadium

Capacity: 20,000

As one of the new teams in the UFL, the Columbus Aviators will be playing at Historic Crew Stadium. It’s an excellent venue choice by the league, with a capacity of 20,000 people. Historic Crew was previously used by the Columbus Crew in the MLS, but they’ve recently moved to lower.com field – leaving Historic Crew wide open in the spring. Expect HCS to be one of the UFL’s elite experiences in 2026 from a fan’s perspective.

Dallas Renegades | Toyota Stadium

Capacity: 20,500

The Dallas Renegades have a new name, and a new home. The Renegades will be moving to Toyota Stadium, after playing their home games at Choctaw Stadium from 2020-2025. This is one of the best decisions made by the UFL for multiple reasons. Toyota is a much smaller venue, and will give Dallas fans a closer experience to a team like the DC Defenders at Audi Field. Choctaw is a baseball stadium, so watching football there was always a bit funky – and it was too big. Toyota Stadium is located in Frisco, about 30 minutes north of Dallas.

DC Defenders | Audi Field

Audi Field: 20,000

The DC Defenders will stick at Audi Field, in downtown Washington D.C. – which makes perfect sense. DC has been an outstanding place for the UFL to play in, with Audi Field holding some of the most memorable moments for fans. The Beer Snake comes to mind as a fun UFL tradition that’s taken the league by storm. As increased marketing efforts come to the league ahead of 2026, we hope to see DC’s attendance see an uptick, similar to the numbers that the XFL featured in 2020 and 2023.

Houston Gamblers | Shell Energy Stadium

Capacity: 22,000

Similar to the Dallas Renegades, the Houston Gamblers rebranded (previously Roughnecks) – and now have a new place to call home. Houston’s jumped around to a few different venues over the years, and lands in Shell Energy Stadium for the 2026 season. Shell is a perfect fit for a fanbase that needs to see growth next year. With a capacity of 22,000, it’s nearly half the size of Space City Financial, where the Roughnecks played in 2025.

Louisville Kings | Lynn Family Stadium

Capacity: 15,000

The Louisville Kings are another new team joining the UFL for the 2026 season. They will be playing at Lynn Family Stadium, which currently is the host to two soccer teams (USL, NWSL) – and now the Kings of the UFL enter the sports scene in Louisville. Lynn Family is another venue that fits Mike Repole’s vision for the future of this league. It’s the smallest stadium the UFL has, which hopefully means we will see some sellout crowds in 2026.

Orlando Storm | Inter & Co Stadium

Capacity: 25,500

In contrast to Camping World Stadium, where the Orlando Guardians played in the XFL during the 2023 season, the Orlando Storm are in a brand new venue. They’ll be playing at Inter & Co Stadium, another strong fit for the UFL. Inter & Co seats a little over 25,000 people in the stands, and features some overhangs for shade – which is much needed in the Orlando heat. Considering the Storm will have home games in April and May, this is a major upgrade from Camping World for a variety of reasons.

St. Louis Battlehawks | The Dome

Capacity: 67,000

Finally, the St. Louis Battlehawks will stay put at The Dome At America’s Center for the 2026 campaign. The Battlehawks have seen some of the strongest attendance numbers of any spring football market in history, with over 40,000 people showing up to a game in 2024. There was a dip in 2025, though, so hopefully the Battlehawks can find their groove and get back to peak form from a fan attendance perspective. The Dome, when it’s rocking, is one of the loudest environments in the UFL.

Final Thoughts

It isn’t surprising to see so many venue changes in the UFL heading towards 2026, especially with the fresh vision of Mike Repole. UFL events in 2024 and 2025 were empty far too often – but with a healthy mix of new markets and stadiums to play in, the league should see some serious improvements on that end.
