It’s been an incredibly productive couple of weeks for United Football League (UFL) athletes in the NFL. During the preseason, we’ve witnessed over 50 players just from the 2026 season alone get the opportunity to compete in camp.
From special teams, to wide receivers, to safeties – this weekend of action truly had it all. It’s a testament to what the UFL stands for, and is building upon, each and every year.
Similar to last week, we’re going to break up the review of it all into two articles. In this column, we will focus purely on players who were participants during the 2026 season.
Pittsburgh Steelers
WR Isaiah Winstead, Louisville
WR Cornell Powell, DC
DE Jacoby Windmon, Columbus
Pittsburgh got some legitimate production out of their UFL players. Defensive end Jacoby Windmon had himself a night, with five tackles (tied for leading the team), along with a tackle for loss.
While Cornell Powell didn’t record any receptions, Isaiah Winstead made the most of his minutes. He had two catches for 32 yards, giving Pittsburgh some life towards the end of the game.
Carolina Panthers
WR Roc Taylor, Columbus
WR Elijah Cooks, Birmingham
DT Kyon Barrs, Houston
DE Cam Gill, Louisville
It was a spectacular week for Roc Taylor, who put himself on the map with the one touch he had. Taylor came down with an incredibly impressive 16 yard touchdown reception – his only target of the night. Elijah Cooks was not targeted.
Cam Gill, UFL defensive player of the year, did his thing. He had a tackle, alongside a fumble recovery. Kyon Barrs did not have any tackles this week.
Denver Broncos
WR Hakeem Butler, St. Louis
DB Sean Fresch Jr., St. Louis
Another week, another struggle for Hakeem Butler. He was targeted twice on the night, on back-to-back plays, but did not come away with any catches. Neither ball was perfect from Stidham, for reference. Sean Fresch recorded a key tackle on special teams.
Washington Commanders
TE Tre’ McKitty, Louisville
LB Curtis Jacobs, DC
Curtis Jacobs has been making a name for himself over the past 12 days with Washington. He had another pair of tackles in their loss against Detroit, which culminated in a convincing tackle for loss in the early fourth quarter.
Tre’ McKitty, who just signed with the team, did not record any statistics.
Buffalo Bills
RB Ian Wheeler, Louisville
DB D.J. Miller Jr., Columbus
Ian Wheeler is going to make it very difficult for Buffalo to make cutdowns in this running back room. He once again led the team in rushing yards, with 56 yards on 14 carries. Ian has been making a name for himself all camp long – no surprise to those of us who watched him in the UFL this year. D.J. Miller didn’t see the field much this week defensively, which is a shame.
Detroit Lions
WR Lucky Jackson, Louisville
WR Tarik Black, Louisville
WR Tay Martin, Columbus
CB Ryan Cooper, Birmingham
CB Ekow Boye-Doe, DC
Detroit is absolutely stacked with UFL to NFL talent, and this is just from 2026 alone. The wideouts were out in full effect, with Jackson leading the way – posting two receptions for 15 yards. Tay Martin was targeted four times, with one catch for 11 yards. He also had a key block on a touchdown scamper from quarterback Josh Dobbs.
Neither cornerback had any stats on the ESPN sheet, as neither one saw the field.
Atlanta Falcons
WR Antwane Wells, Columbus
DT Devonnsha Maxwell, DC
DE Keshawn Banks, Orlando
Last week, Juice Wells didn’t get a ton of action. This week, that changed. He had an opportunity to make a play, seizing the spotlight with a 36 yard reception down the sidelines.
Defensively, Atlanta signed a pair of studs. Devonnsha Maxwell totaled two tackles up front, while Keshawn Banks had multiple pressures, a QB hit, and a tackle in Atlanta’s dominant win over the Colts.
New Orleans Saints
QB Hunter Dekkers, Houston
WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper, Houston
K Tanner Brown, Louisville
Interestingly enough, the Saints opted not to let Dekkers spin the rock this week, with zero passing attempts. Unfortunately, Tanner Brown’s lone field goal attempt was no good, from 39 yards out. It was Jalen Cropper who stole the show, with two receptions for 34 yards – including a sideline snag for 25.
Cleveland Browns
DT Patrick Jenkins, Columbus
DT Travis Bell, Louisville
Bell had a big game last week, but disappointingly wasn’t as involved in week two. Meanwhile, Patrick Jenkins posted a tackle for a second straight matchup.
Arizona Cardinals
RB Tre Stewart, Orlando
TE Shawn Bowman, Orlando
TE Baylor Cupp, Dallas
LB Eugene Asante, Houston
CB Quinton Newsome, Houston
Both Tre Stewart and Shawn Bowman, former teammates with the Orlando Storm, made an impact. Stewart ripped off two carries for 40 yards, including a 29 yard scamper to end the game. Shawn Bowman recorded two receptions for 23 yards on a pair of targets.
Defensively, Eugene Asante led the way with five tackles. He was a tackling machine for Houston this past UFL season, and now is showcasing his potential in Arizona. Quinton Newsome and Baylor Cupp didn’t record any stats.
Philadelphia Eagles
WR Erik Ezukanma, DC
CB Shaun Wade, Dallas
CB Isaiah Bolden, Louisville
Another week, another turnover forced by Shaun Wade. He had an unbelievable night when it comes to general production, leading the team with 10 tackles. Shaun forced a fumble in the second half, copying what he did in week one.
Erik Ezukanma had another impressive day, with three receptions for 30 yards on just three targets. Isaiah Bolden, who was signed just a couple days before this game, had a tackle and a pass breakup.
Dallas Cowboys
RB Jashaun Corbin, Orlando
WR Denzel Mims, Dallas
OL Chris Glaser, Columbus
DB Ameer Speed, Houston
Denzel Mims had a grab for -1 yards, but did redeem himself with a key block on a rushing touchdown late for Dallas. Jashaun Corbin, for a second straight game, wasn’t handed the rock. Ameer Speed, the former Gamblers corner, had a tackle. Meanwhile, Chris Glaser played 10 snaps.
Green Bay Packers
WR Kaden Prather, Louisville
S Trey Dean III, St. Louis
S Tra Fluellen, Dallas
Unfortunately, Green Bay’s UFL alumni did not see the field much in their 33-13 win. Neither one recorded any statistics, per ESPN.
Chicago Bears
WR Kaden Davis, Houston
LB Tony Fields II, Columbus
Kaden Davis didn’t make as much of a splash through the air this week, but he proved his worth on special teams. Kaden had two kick returns for 48 yards, alongside a pair of punt returns for 11 yards. For a second straight game, Tony Fields did not take the field.
Miami Dolphins
OT Gottlieb Ayedze, Houston
S Major Burns, Houston
Last week, Gottlieb Ayedze was a mainstay on the O-Line, with 32 snaps. Against the Giants, though, he only saw the field for six. Burns, on the other hand, didn’t have any tackles, but did record a QB pressure.
Tennessee Titans
CB Mario Goodrich, Birmingham
CB Corey Mayfield Jr., Louisville
The Titans featured a pair of spring football defensive backs, both of which were on the field in the second half. Neither recorded any statistics, but Mayfield was involved in forcing a couple of incompletions from the quarterback, and Goodrich also applied pressure in the backfield.
Other UFL to NFL Performances
Stallions S Alex Cook, Rams: Alex Cook has two healthy hands, and he made the most of those in a stellar outing on Saturday. Alex came away with a 100 yard pick six, just adding to Los Angeles’ stomping over New Orleans. Cook had two tackles, a pass breakup, and the interception.
Kings CB Bryce Hall, Texans: Hall made his mark during his preseason debut with Houston. The UFL Champion, and former NFL draft pick, had six tackles (T-2nd on the team), alongside a pass breakup.
Storm WR Cam Camper, Jets: Last week, Camper ended up leading the Jets with over 30 receiving yards. In this game, however, he was not targeted. Cam did record a tackle on special teams.
Renegades QB Austin Reed, Ravens: The Ravens opted not to use Reed much in this game. He had just two pass attempts, one of which was completed for seven yards.
Gamblers DE Kenny Dyson Jr., Vikings: In his debut with the Minnesota Vikings, Kenny Dyson put on a show. He had a tackle, a tackle for loss, and a sack – showcasing his raw ability to get to the quarterback with ease.
Gamblers S Roman Parodie, Bucs: To no one’s surprise, Roman Parodie is making plays again in the preseason with Tampa Bay. He had an interception, alongside a couple of tackles in the Bucs win over Kansas City.
Defenders DT Casey Rogers, Patriots: Two weeks in a row, Casey Rogers has notched a tackle in New England. He was a solid rotational piece for DC this past year in their Championship run.
This was a ridiculously jam-packed weekend of UFL to NFL action – and this doesn’t even include the alumni from 2022-2025. It speaks volumes to what the United Football League is doing: creating opportunities for athletes to get back to the NFL.
