And just like that, the NFL’s preseason is over. The United Football League (UFL) was well represented throughout, as over 70 players from the 2026 season alone ended up signing onto rosters.
In this piece, we will focus solely on athletes from 2026, breaking up the UFL to NFL review into two articles, like we have throughout the preseason.
Without further adieu, let’s break it all down.
Buffalo Bills
RB Ian Wheeler, Louisville
OL Sincere Haynesworth, St. Louis
DB D.J. Miller Jr., Columbus
For a second time over the last three weeks, former Kings RB Ian Wheeler found the end zone. He rushed for 23 yards and the go-ahead score with Buffalo this week. Sincere Haynesworth, a versatile OL who signed this past week, only saw the field for two snaps.
The star of the night was D.J. Miller Jr., which is no surprise to those of us who have watched him ball in the UFL the last two years. Miller was lockdown in Buffalo’s win. He allowed zero receptions on three targets, with two tackles and a pass breakup. He posted an outstanding 90.0 Defensive Grade, via PFF.
Washington Commanders
TE Tre’ McKitty, Louisville
DE Boogie Basham, DC
LB Curtis Jacobs, DC
S Quindell Johnson, Louisville
Even though he only had a few days to prepare, Kings safety Quindell Johnson was ready. He had four tackles, a pass breakup, and an interception in his Commanders debut.
Boogie Basham and Curtis Jacobs, two members of the DC Defenders in 2026, combined for seven tackles. Boogie had four of his own, in his first game with Washington. Tre’ McKitty wasn’t targeted for a third straight game with the Commanders.
Carolina Panthers
WR Roc Taylor, Columbus
WR Elijah Cooks, Birmingham
DT Kyon Barrs, Houston
DE Cam Gill, Louisville
In the final preseason game of the year, Roc Taylor and Elijah Cooks both saw a bit of action offensively. Taylor had two receptions for 11 yards, while Cooks had a catch for five yards of his own.
Kyon Barrs impressively had a tackle and a pass breakup, but it was Cam Gill who stole the show. The former UFL Defensive Player of the Year with the Louisville Kings had a pair of fumble recoveries in one game alone, alongside two tackles.
Pittsburgh Steelers
WR Isaiah Winstead, Louisville
WR Cornell Powell, DC
DE Jacoby Windmon, Columbus
Cornell Powell, the veteran wideout, hauled in three catches for 23 yards, with a long of 16 yards. He was targeted four times. Unfortunately, Isaiah Winstead didn’t get the same treatment, without a single ball thrown his way. Jacoby Windmon, who had a strong five-tackle performance a week ago, had just one tackle on the night.
Houston Texans
DE Derek Parish, DC
CB Bryce Hall, Louisville
Bryce Hall led the way once again as a UFL standout in the preseason. He had four tackles (2 solo), with a pass breakup. The former Jets draft pick put himself in a position to at least make Houston’s practice squad. DE Derek Parish was signed this past week, notching a tackle in Houston’s loss.
Baltimore Ravens
QB Austin Reed, Dallas
LB Michael Barrett, St. Louis
While it was a bit of a rocky start for Austin Reed, tossing an interception, he made up for it. Austin completed three of eight pass attempts for 38 yards, and one touchdown in the 41-3 shellacking of Washington.
Barrett, a rotational piece with the Battlehawks in 2026, signed to Baltimore just two days before their final preseason game. Michael did see the field in the second half, totaling one tackle.
Los Angeles Rams
CB Steven Gilmore. Birmingham
S Alex Cook, Birmingham
Alex Cook, who ended the UFL season on a high note, produced this past preseason. He posted four tackles in week three. Steven Gilmore was on the field for just 10 snaps, without any targets. Gilmore was signed just a few days before this game, not giving him much runway with the organization.
Atlanta Falcons
WR Antwane Wells, Columbus
DT Devonnsha Maxwell, DC
DE Keshawn Banks, Orlando
Antwane Wells deserved more targets this preseason. He only had two of them, racking up 46 receiving yards on a pair of catches. 10 of those came in week three. Devonnsha Maxwell recorded a tackle for a third consecutive week. Unfortunately, Keshawn Banks didn’t take the field due to injury.
Miami Dolphins
OT Gottlieb Ayedze, Houston
LB Jaheim Thomas, Louisville
S Major Burns, Houston
Burns and Thomas were two of the UFL’s top defenders in 2026, and both contributed during week three of the preseason. Jaheim had four tackles in his first action with Miami, which isn’t a shock given his nose for the football. Major Burns had two tackles, including a tackle for loss.
New Orleans Saints
QB Hunter Dekkers, Houston
WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper, Houston
K Tanner Brown, Louisville
It wasn’t the greatest week for 2026 UFL players in New Orleans. QB Hunter Dekkers didn’t take the field at all, while Jalen Moreno-Cropper amassed -2 yards. Meanwhile, former All-UFL kicker Tanner Brown connected on one extra point, but was largely replaced by Daniel Carlson from a special teams perspective.
Detroit Lions
WR Lucky Jackson, Louisville
WR Tarik Black, Louisville
WR Tay Martin, Columbus
CB Ryan Cooper, Birmingham
CB Ekow Boye-Doe, DC
S Jason Taylor II, Orlando
This year was the year of wide receivers for Detroit. Tay Martin, who has made the roster officially, had four receptions for 16 yards, including a touchdown snag in Detroit’s win over Indianapolis.
Lucky Jackson didn’t see a ton of attention leading into week three, but he dazzled at Ford Field. He led the Lions with 94 receiving yards on five receptions, making an incredible one handed catch right before halftime. Jackson caught every pass that was thrown his way.
Tarik Black didn’t have any catches this week, with just one target. Ryan Cooper, the former Stallions corner, had a tackle and a pass breakup. Meanwhile, Jason Taylor racked up a pair of tackles in his debut, having signed just a few days earlier with Detroit. Ekow Boye-Doe did not record any stats.
Dallas Cowboys
RB Jashaun Corbin, Orlando
WR Denzel Mims, Dallas
OL Chris Glaser, Columbus
DB Ameer Speed, Houston
Of all the 2026 signings from the UFL for Dallas, Ameer Speed has emerged as the front runner to make this roster. He racked up four tackles on the afternoon, all solo, allowing just three receiving yards during 14 coverage snaps.
Jashaun Corbin finally received some reps offensively, with 14 rushing yards on three carries. Denzel Mims didn’t record any stats, while Chris Glaser got the chance to play a bit of center (seven snaps).
Philadelphia Eagles
WR Erik Ezukanma, DC
CB Shaun Wade, Dallas
CB Isaiah Bolden, Louisville
S Jaylen Mahoney, Orlando
The Philadelphia Eagles made it clear: they wanted to get a good look at some of spring football’s secondary. Shaun Wade has been with the team all of camp, and once again put on a show. He had four tackles and two pass breakups, notching an outstanding 92.4 Defensive Grade via PFF.
Isaiah Bolden, who spent a few weeks with the Kings, had a tackle. Jaylen Mahoney only saw the field for seven snaps. Former Defenders WR Erik Ezukanma had three kick returns for 74 yards, showcasing his versatility and positional flexibility.
Arizona Cardinals
RB Tre Stewart, Orlando
TE Shawn Bowman, Orlando
LB Eugene Asante, Houston
CB Quinton Newsome, Houston
S Josh Minkins, Orlando
S Hudson Clark, Birmingham
The Arizona Cardinals went absolutely crazy the last two weeks signing UFL players. They cut Renegades TE Baylor Cupp, adding two safeties in Josh Minkins and Hudson Clark. Clark and Minkins combined for two tackles in the secondary, with both seeing positive PFF grades.
On the ground, it wasn’t the best showing for Stewart, who had nine carries for just 12 yards. He did also record a reception for eight yards. Bowman and Newsome didn’t have any stats, but Eugene Asante once again put his name in the rotation, with four tackles on the night.
Chicago Bears
WR Kaden Davis, Houston
LB Tony Fields II, Columbus
LB Antonio Grier Jr., Louisville
CB Deantre Prince, Louisville
Kaden Davis did his thing once again, with three kick returns for 47 yards. He’s a special teams ace, and has done more than enough to stick around in Chicago. He also had a catch for five yards. However, it was Antonio Grier Jr. who stole the spotlight. In his first week of play with Chicago, he led the Bears with six tackles, four of which were solo.
For a third consecutive game, Tony Fields II did not see the field. Deantre Prince made his Bears debut as well, with two tackles to his name.
Green Bay Packers
WR Kaden Prather, Louisville
S Trey Dean III, St. Louis
S Tra Fluellen, Dallas
For the pair of UFL safeties, it was a productive final outing in Green Bay. Tra Fluellen and Trey Dean had three tackles each, two of which were solo for both. WR Kaden Prather saw some flight offensively, which was great to see. He had two receptions for 17 yards on three targets.
Denver Broncos
DE Ron Stone Jr., Columbus
DT Israel Antwine, Houston
DB Sean Fresch Jr., St. Louis
This week, Denver released Hakeem Butler – signing a pair of defensive linemen from the UFL. Former Aviators DE Ron Stone Jr. was on the field for 19 snaps, while Gamblers DT Israel Antwine saw 20 snaps, recording a quarterback pressure.
Sean Fresch Jr. was a swiss army knife for St. Louis in 2026. He finally was utilized a bit on special teams, with one punt return for 10 yards, to go along with two tackles defensively.
Cleveland Browns
DT Patrick Jenkins, Columbus
DT Travis Bell, Louisville
The Browns didn’t see much of Patrick Jenkins or Travis Bell during the final couple of weeks. Bell did not record any statistics for a second straight game, while Patrick saw his name on the final stat sheet with one tackle.
Tennessee Titans
LB Dyontae Johnson, Birmingham
CB Mario Goodrich, Birmingham
CB Corey Mayfield Jr., Louisville
All three UFL players in Tennessee were memorable in week three of the preseason. Corey Mayfield led the way with three tackles, while Goodrich and Johnson had two tackles of their own. Mario also had a tackle for loss.
Other UFL to NFL Performances
Battlehawks WR Gary Jennings, Chargers: Despite signing with Los Angeles just a couple of days prior to their final game of the preseason, Gary Jennings made an immediate impression. He had three catches for 44 yards, good for second on the team in receiving yards.
Defenders DT Casey Rogers, Patriots: Rogers was consistent all preseason long, making the most of his limited snaps. Casey posted one tackle in New England’s 37-13 loss to Cleveland.
Gamblers DE Jah Joyner, 49ers: Jah was underrated in the UFL all year long in Houston. He made sure to leave a mark in San Francisco, with two tackles, a TFL, and a major quarterback hit as the 49ers came away with a late win over Las Vegas.
Storm WR Cam Camper, Jets: In the final preseason game of the week, Cam Camper got some action again. He had two catches for 26 yards, leading the team.
Gamblers S Roman Parodie, Bucs: Roman put his best foot forward during his final preseason outing with Tampa Bay. He had four tackles, allowing only one reception on three targets.
Gamblers DE Kenny Dyson Jr., Vikings: Dyson suffered an injury in this game, but not before he got to the quarterback, notching a tackle and a QB hit in Minnesota’s loss.
Kings OL Kellen Diesch, Seahawks: Diesch made the most of his opportunity with Seattle, after getting cut by Kansas City. Kellen played 33 snaps, recording an outstanding 81.4 Pass Blocking Grade via PFF.
Defenders OL Trey Wedig, Colts: Trey made his preseason debut with Indianapolis this week. He saw the field for only six snaps.
This was a ridiculously jam-packed weekend of UFL to NFL action – and this doesn’t even include the alumni from 2022-2025. It speaks volumes to what the United Football League is doing: creating opportunities for athletes to get back to the NFL.
