Growing up, football was one of the few things that brought me joy. It’s always played a major role in my life, and continues to do so. As I’ve delved into sports journalism, spring football has become my passion. Covering the USFL & XFL is a dream come true, and I look forward to plenty of excellent seasons in the years to come.

LUKE MILLER
Writer

I fell in love with spring football in 2019 with the launch of the Alliance of American Football. Having just moved to Birmingham, the AAF was the first deep connection I felt to my new city. Since then, I have seen leagues come and go, but I have not stopped following the storylines and passion that define professional football outside of the NFL. I was fortunate enough to still be living in Birmingham when the second iteration of the USFL launched here in 2022. It is a privilege to cover a league that is giving opportunities to so many overlooked athletes, coaches, and staff.

Just a guy being a dude and writing mostly about college football and occasionally other things. Writing helped me through my first heartbreak and my other interests are playing R&B songs on the keyboard, ballroom dance, and most importantly Jesus 🙂
