Battlehawks OL Sincere Haynesworth & LB Michael Barrett Sign To NFL

On Tuesday, a pair of St. Louis Battlehawks players made their way to the NFL. OL Sincere Haynesworth and Michael Barrett signed NFL contracts following workouts with the Bills and Ravens respectively.

OL Sincere Haynesworth | Buffalo

Sincere Haynesworth was an outstanding story for spring football, and one that goes a bit under the radar. Haynesworth was originally drafted by the San Antonio Brahmas in 2024. He did not play for two years, remaining on NFL practice squads.

Once joining the UFL, he ended up in St. Louis – with OC A.J. Smith (formerly a San Antonio member). Haynesworth started in seven of 11 games played this past UFL season. He saw snaps at both left and right guard – and then took over as the starting center in the playoffs, showcasing his versatility. Haynesworth had a strong 75.4 Pass Blocking Grade, via PFF.

Collegiately, Sincere started in 53 of 60 games played at Tulane, and was named as the AAC’s Center and Offensive Lineman of the Year by College Football Network in 2023. He has NFL experience with the Saints and Cardinals.

LB Michael Barrett | Baltimore

The Baltimore Ravens have acquired Michael Barrett, the former Michigan Wolverine who played in the UFL this past season. Barrett, originally signed by the Birmingham Stallions, followed Corey Chamblin to St. Louis.

Michael started in one game, appearing in several contests with the Battlehawks. He totaled 10 tackles, a sack, and four defensive stops.

Barrett was formerly a seventh round draft pick in 2024, with the Carolina Panthers. While he didn’t remain in Carolina for long, Michael’s already been with a few NFL teams (Packers, Browns, Seahawks, Raiders) across the last two years.
