San Francisco 49ers Sign Birmingham Stallions CB Nate Brooks

San Francisco 49ers Sign Birmingham Stallions CB Nate Brooks

The San Francisco 49ers signed two USFL athletes in one day. Birmingham Stallions CB Nate Brooks has been picked up by the organization, just hours after they signed Michigan Panthers DE Breeland Speaks.

Nate Brooks joined the Birmingham Stallions during the offseason, and proved to be a very valuable pickup.

During the 2023 season, Brooks started all ten games for the Stallions. He finished the year with 43 total tackles, and two interceptions.

The Birmingham Stallions had quite the successful campaign, boasting a league best 8-2 record, ultimately winning the Championship.

Their defense was an underrated storyline throughout. They consistently shut down opponents in the clutch, especially down the stretch of the season. Against Pittsburgh in the Championship, the Stallions didn’t allow a single touchdown.

Nate Brooks is no stranger to the NFL. He’s played with the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, and Baltimore Ravens.

Now, he’ll have an opportunity to continue his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers.
