Philadelphia Stars Sign Auzoyah Alufohai & Warren Ericson

The Philadelphia Stars have made a couple of moves to strengthen their line. Auzoyah Alufohai and Warren Ericson have signed with the team, looking to boost two units that struggled at times during the 2023 USFL season.

DL Auzoyah Alufohai began his college career at Kennesaw State University. With the Owls, he performed well. In his junior year with the team, he posted 31 tackles, and 1.5 TFL. He then played at West Georgia, registering 31 tackles, 4 TFL, and two sacks in the 2019 season.

Alufohai was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2020. Since then, he’s spent time with multiple NFL organizations, including the Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Chicago Bears.

Now, Auzoyah Alufohai signs with the Philadelphia Stars heading into the 2024 season.

The offensive line was a troublesome area for Philadelphia in 2023. Now, they have some help. OL Warren Ericson has signed with the team, first reported by USFL News.

Ericson hails from the University of Georgia, where he played with the team for four years. 2021 was a breakout season for Warren, who started in 14 of 15 games at right guard. In addition, he saw some playing time at the center position.

With a 4-6 record during the 2023 season behind them, GM Michael Woods and the Philadelphia Stars will look to continue to make moves to bolster the roster. Just recently, the team re-signed WR Jordan Suell.
