The New Jersey Generals have signed another free agent, this time bringing in wide receiver Fabian Guerra for the 2024 USFL season. New Jersey has been quite aggressive in acquiring talent this offseason, and now brings in another offensive playmaker in Fabian.
Fabian Guerra had an outstanding career at Fairmont State. Through four seasons, he compiled 2,797 receiving yards alongside 19 touchdowns, showcasing his versatility and skill sets – which improved each and every year.
Spring football is nothing new for Fabian, who’s had his fair share of opportunities. He originally played for the Memphis Express in the AAF, but only saw playing time in a couple of games during the shortened season.
Arena ball has played a major role in his career so far. Guerra won the NAL 2017 Championship with the Carolina Cobras, posting impressive numbers with 818 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns.
In 2019, Fabian had a stint with the Columbus Destroyers in the AFL, playing one year with the team before the league folded.
Since then, he’s bounced around between multiple leagues. Guerra spent a bit of time with two CFL franchises, and also played for the NAL’s Massachusetts Pirates in 2023. There, he registered 161 yards and two touchdowns during the season. He also garnered interest from the XFL’s San Antonio Brahmas this past spring.
